Database and Operating Systems supported by Purge-it!

Background

If you are first installing Purge-it!, or upgrading aspects of your JD Edwards system such as the Database software or Operating Systems, you may need to check the supported versions and/or Minimum Technical Requirements.  This document lays out the answer to these questions.

Purge-it! Minimum Technical Requirements

Purge-it! is developed within the JD Edwards Toolset, using a combination of Objects developed in the JDE Tools, Business functions, and API calls. All database updates are performed through Oracle/JD Edwards supplied APIs.

Therefore, the supported releases of Database and Operating Systems, and the Minimum Technical Requirements for Purge-it! are the same as for your JD Edwards installation. If JD Edwards runs, then Purge-it! will also run.
